Getaway paradise found in a bee hive

Every now and then, every one needs a weekend getaway but to find time to do so from hectic work schedule is always an issue. The ideal weekend getaway would be to head to an out-stationed destination for a small chance of escapism but for me, a 2D1N 'weekend getaway' often result in more tiredness rather than relaxation due to the rush.

Small portion of the KL jam along Jln. Pudu

Kuala Lumpur, the city carrying Malaysia's heartbeat is definitely a must-visit for tourist who visits Malaysia. Almost every hour of every day regardless of the change in sky color, KL, without a doubt, will be jam packed! While it is often labeled as the best host for business, leisure, shopping or dining… it screams 'RUN-AWAY' rather than a 'GET-AWAY' to us, city people; Especially to those who work in that bee hive.

But when you think about it, if there is an option where you can go around shopping/etc. in the bee hive and as you get tired, just a few blocks away lay a beautiful cozy hotel room for your head… wouldn't it be a good idea for a weekend getaway too? ;)

Just last week, I was invited to Swiss-Garden Residences KL to have a view at its 2 majestic suites on the 33rd floor; the Bukit Bintang Suite - 5 bedrooms with a private balcony and the Kuala Lumpur Suite - 4 bedrooms with a walk-in wardrobe. The Suite is perhaps the most iconic of all living spaces. The word implies sheer elegance, with an emphasis on space, views and an enviable urban lifestyle.

I shall take you on a tour around the two beautiful suites through my camera lens, all pictures shown are a combination of both suites to present you the rough idea of the suites' beauty.

Prepare to be amazed! :D

Designed with the finesse of contemporary interiors and spanning over 2300 square-feet, both suites boast in stunning panoramic views of the bustling KL city. The 4 bedroom suites comes with a spacious living room, 42" TV with 16 channels including satellite and local channels, cozy dining area, AV room, a study area, fully equipped kitchen with contemporary design, bath tub and rain shower as well as a complimentary full minibar and Wi-Fi. I'm pretty sure now all screams had been tuned to saying 'Get-away' rather than 'Run-away'. ;)

To make enquires/reservations on these beautiful suites, please call 03-2141 3333.

Before stepping into the suites, we were treated with a BBQ dinner over at T@ste6 just at the lobby of the Swiss-Garden Residences.

After filling our tummies, we decide to rebel with our dining experience by indulging in cups of lattes after 9pm.

And to our lovely surprise, we were greeted with beautiful coffee arts on our latte foam.

The night got even better as there were lucky draws! I don't expect much when it comes to lucky draws as I know very well of my lousy luck, especially when it comes to lucky draws. But! Woopie dee doo!!

I ACTUALLY GOT LUCKY! :D

In fact, my name was called out first! :D
And at that moment, I just went 'Fulamak'.

Thank you Swiss-Garden KL for a lovely night :)

I know right, so elegant! But when you think about it, it has 4 or 5 big rooms… if there were to be a party and the cost is split among say 10 people (min)… it would cost RM350 per person. The more, the merrier and also, the cheaper :P
