Simple yet memorable :)

For Valentine's this year, Mr.V and I thought that it would be a better idea to go back to the basics of a simple date; a nice dinner and movie. Though, we kind of extended the V-day celebration into two days for we wanted to skip the Valentine's crowd on Tuesday in restaurants. And so, on Monday we had a lovely dinner at Pasta Zanmai in conjunction with his birthday and on Tuesday, we had our movie date. :3

After much rave on TGV Sunway Pyramid's latest addition, the Beanieplex, we decided to try it out even though the ticket pricing was a tad bit more expensive (RM19) with the most suited, predictable movie you would consider on the love day, Underworld: Awakening. Hehe, very 'lomantic' right? :D

And now I can finally understand what the rave was all about! It was absolutely comfortable, even more than I would feel at home honestly. Mr.V and I were lying on the huge beanie likabawss and it felt great! I was actually embracing myself for the cold war because I remember shivering my butt off in the normal TGV cinemas even though it was filled up, so it was safe to assume that Beanieplex would feel like the Antarctica. But nope! The temperature of the room was satisfactory as well as it wasn't too cold considering there are possibly only 32 people in it. So I managed to enjoy my movie despite wearing just a pair of shorts, tank top and a hoodie jacket. (Yeah, you must be rolling your eyes after reading my choice of outfit for Valentine's day but! I dolled up the day before for Mr.V's birthday so, that counted for V-day already :P) 

All in all, it was definitely worth the first try though I wouldn't go for it without any special occasions because that seat could have bought me tickets to two different movies.

And in case you're wondering on what I surprised Mr.V with on his big day after much hue and cry on actually picking out a gift…

I settled for a watch, something he wouldn't buy for himself in probably another decade. 

P/S: I inserted a little note too, a reminder actually, that he should from now on, be on time for dates because the clock is ticking… and its on the wrist to constantly remind him.
